I just got off the phone with the sales guy at Treadzone ( [email protected] ). He said that he currently has 5 sets of 16's ready to be shaved at $920 a set delivered. He will have 17's in next week ($924/set!! delivered). He DOES take Toyo Bucks and he also has his own contingency for tire money. Anyway, email him directly with your order, specifying the tread depth you want them shaved to. Over and out.Quote:

You all need to be careful where you get your tires. Make sure the dates are current.Quote:

Prices have gone up about $5 this year.
I will have NEW date coded 275/40-17 RA-1s very soon. I will know more on Friday or Monday.
Let me know John when you find out. I hope they come in next week.Quote:

Phil, what are your prices for a set of RA1's shaved and shipped to TX, 75080 for example?
Both 255/50/16's and 275/40/17's

Brian Harrison - New to AI
He has been racing in COMMA at hallett for a number of years.
His car has changed a lot in the last month. It was super charged and running 315/30-18 R6s.
After a motor change, super charger removed and new Forgelines, he should be ready for round 2.
BTW, we carry Hoosiers as well and I believe we at Chicane 23 can beat ANY prices on tires.
Just give us a call or PM me.
John will take care of all your tire needs. No reason to go anywhere else for tires.
JJ
When I asked the question 3 months ago about where to go for tires I was told about PST only... and got to pay an extra $200 for tires that are already 2.5 years old. So why are all these vendors just now showing up with all their 'great' tire pricing?
Feeling a bit burned here.
+1 JG is a solid guy! 8)Quote:

I can tell you that John takes care of everything I need for the race car. When I put the new motor in the 17 he quoted everything I needed and was higher than Jegs. When I told him he was high he still wanted the order and matched Jegs prices. It's really nice to deal with someone that has good contacts to find the parts you need and at a good price. Unless something has changed Phils will be way higher than John (or anyone else for that matter). I purchased from them once and the freight alone was as high as giraffe Pussy!

No 275s currently, but expected by the end of the week.Quote:

Now that is a funny statement
I have one more set of 4 275/40-17s left and are shaved to 5/32.
If anyone needs them let me know.
Thank you all for the kind words and great support.
I hope everyone has a great 2010 season.
Baby's new shoes showed up yesterday in 26X26X14 boxes.
Thanks, JG.
I thought those were your wheels and you switched to AIX. :shock:Quote:

Most with 09 Date Codes (most current). All still in full tread.
