I'm all for helping out if needed, but don't want to step on any toes.
As mentioned before, there are some really talented folks in this group and have shown interest in taking lead on the vid project(s).
I will be more than happy to inject thoughts/comments when called upon by those with a hand on the rudder.

That would/could be the intro cut of the video, some local shop commercials mid vid would be fine too, LAW, MEM and others could benefit greatly.

Fire off some suggestions. I'm also picturing a "wind up" prior to the standing start on Saturday with Driver/car/# pictures showing the grid order as we pull up on the parade lap and grid for the start. Need Driver photos with suits on, sponsors info and logos and all the good stuff. This will also be broadcast over the track speakers just like nationals during the roll out from grid and parade lap.
Hmmm....what the hell has gotten into me lately?! :shock: :D

** ERIC - a lot of the 2009 video was from Wirtz/Burch-Love/Fernandez. Remind us all why, especially the HD part.
** WIRTZ/Burch-Love/Fernandez - let the good folks know what the current video setups are.
I'll try to remember to do my part and remind folks to take pictures and video of the "out of car" stuff.

Jeff and I have similar Aiptek HD cameras. They do need a custom bracket, but all that amounts to is a piece of metal bent in an L shape with a hole on one side and a nutsert or threaded hole on the other. No biggie there. Mine seems to have a bad on/off switch but Jeff's seems to be holding up just great. For the money these are hard to beat. We'll see what the go pro hd costs.

Hallet-I still haven't been in the body of water there. How far is it from the track. I'm thinking a longer tow rope, a slalom, and I would ski across it being towed by a race car. I'll even put a Go Pro on my head.
Broadcasting-I was play by play for two years for my old high school football team.
Okay, now back to the good ideas and talented people.
