It was not. But good experience in dealing with the pressure and working through the pace. Session had my quickest lap of the weekend by nearly a second.

I had the thought go through my mind that I was nowhere near as relaxed as Hallett, but I always had something in my mirror here. Next time I need to remember to try 2nd in 3/4/5 "The Diamond's Edge."

And just find a little more overall speed, best laps that race:
Francis 1:48.054
Mosty 1:47.682
McCormick 1:47.274

Looks like I owe Mosty some Stones for holding off Yella.

Why are you calling the F-body and inferior platform? I guess you are looking at the rules/results and data to determine that....but yes an F-body won an invert even though it had .75 slower fast lap. Sounds more like you should be saying Superior driver-nice win Dave!

MSRH makes Dave's butt look big. You must have been watching some of Hallet's how-to videos.

Can I rent your car for tws? Here is my offer, I will bring my own tires. If I beat your previous best by 1 second or more, rental is free, if I don't, I give you $1000 for the weekend. I will also make small adjustments to the car to dial it in, caster/camber/toe, tire pressures, track bar height "if adjustable", etc.

Don't do it Brian, it's a trap. Whatever changes he makes, he'll undo when he gives it back! Or go ahead and do it, I need to beat you next June. :D
