Swelling was down enough by Sunday that they were able to put the tibia back together in an approx. five hour surgery. That apparenty went well.
In the same surgery, they also put a screw into his clavical to help with his separated shoulder. That makes the reality of crutches kind of grim.
They have hooked his leg into a motorized fixture that slowly exercises his knee joint over a range of motion. Sounds like fun.
He's still trapped in Florida. No word on when he'll be able to make it back to Houston.
