My engine builder told me to start it and beat the shit out of it....that was 6 years ago....

My junkyard motor has done fine for 7 seasons... The last motor (new 331) popped due to a dying fuel pump. I didn't have an A/F meter at the time, but do now... It was just the wrong place/wrong time last year for the fuel pump to $hit the bed... I'm crossing my fingers on this one. Also, I'm going to put a fuel pressure isolater and run a guage in the car.
if you are still using stock lines, you could be fighting a flow problem, not just a pressure problem. if the lines are too small, you could generate pressure all day, but the minute you go WOT the injectors suck the line dry. Get the FP gauge and you can be sure that the FP is there during all RPM ranges.
so we have on the list:
Jerry
Wade
Al
Dan
Francis
Randy
Ben
Gary
Robert Rudduck
Put me down if you want one more to get the total cost down. I can bring some more TTers as well, just say the word :)
Randy,
As a thought, are you going to give priority to race cars and TT cars that require a dyno sheet in order to compete? Seems like we've done this on past dyno days so that those who really need it get done. It would suck if, for instance, Pranav's Tundra blows the dyno up early in the day due to all that massive Toyota power.
I have communicated to Tony that we have 10-12 NASA CMC cars that will be wanting to dyno on Friday. If he wants to work in others, I assume he has that proagative. We haven't reserved any time slots. Just let him know to be ready for some dyno sessions. I'm sure we can get everyone in over the weekend.
