I was actually thinking the same thing. There is a nice looking used BMW 330i sitting on a car lot I drive by ever day and I was kind of thinking about seeing what I could get it for.....but I don't need a car with parts that expensive. :shock:

I've done this on my focus.
I'm sure it was mostly labor.
The car was built around the alternator.

I've pushed the car into the backyard and will get to the S/C upgrade and alternator replacement when I have time & money....next month hopefully. :oops: :?:

But....but....Sam was at the Dyno with us!?! :shock:

Pulled the drivetrain and a few last bits from 'ol #70 today w/ help from Mitch and Mike. Pulled the last of the wiring yesterday. Pushed the remaining hull to the back corner of the back yard.

I'm off to the garage now to see if the block is cracked. I found a freeze plug pushed out yesterday. The car has sat out in the trailer since I wrecked it. Seems we had a 24hr period where the temps sayed below freezing. I thought I was safe. Guess not. I had already removed the radiator and thought that was good enough.
