My oldest son Gavin (7) will be with me starting this season to "enjoy" the track experience. My current accomodations may not be there, so I was wondering if anyone:

1. Has a spot for 2 in a RV?
2. Willing to give us some room in an enclosed trailer to spread out an air mattress. (will bring a heater).

All else failes, we can stay at the La Tahoe Inn...

Umm....I DIDN"T spend Saturday night getting ready for the standing starts... :wink:

Meh. A few people came and checked it out but I think most people think road racing only exists in video games and everything with a wing is just a ricer. Didn't help that the track was so cold that the best short time I could manage was a 2.6 which made for a 14.7 et, but at 101mph. Couldn't even roll into first without spinning.

I did see some dude taking pics of his girlfriend posing next to it though.

The best part was after I took the turnout and one of the track workers told me "there's more than one turnoff and I don't have to try and make the first one". :lol:

The last time I ran was at Kennedale 1/8 mile.

That was because at the end, there was this T7 @ TWS type turn. I would stand on the brakes, make the turn and launch off of it.

Was asked to slow down on the return road. Told them that was the fun part.
