American Iron in 2013

All,
It appears that the rumble in the jungle is going to shake out to a pretty big AI field for next year in TX. We have several comp school guys coming and several folks build/rebuilding their cars for a return to AI.

If this list builds out and we all show up, we could have 19 cars!!!

NOLA results indicated that a few more people got licenses:

William Montgomery and John Linton.

Also, Wayne Caudle appears to be a Louisiana region car.

Casey may have spoken with them.

There is also another guy in a new SN197 car that will be starting comp school in Houston that was in HPDE3/4 at NOLA. Unfortunately, I can't remember his name. Very nice car though.

The #404 will be a late 2013 AI participant at the earliest - probably 2014. If the schedule is locked, conflicts will keep me from driving almost all year so we are probably going to have Kyri spend time getting his comp license and run TT and work on making the car and driver more competitive.
Spent budget for our second race car on our '68 so new target is 2014.

Not sure about the 88 car...but Yes Bill and the 56 car will be doing comp school in Houston in January.

Wayne Caudle, John Linton and William Montgomery all got their provisionals and raced with us at Nola! Congrats guys. Move those boys up to the "active racers" group!

There was another guy there with John Linton and William Montgomery, also driving a Fox. His first name is Trent but I'm terrible with names and don't remember his last name. He was working through some electrical gremlins but I'm pretty sure he's planning on racing AI next year.

You can add Tom Hoyle as a possible. He's running that GTO in TT right now but planning to buy / build an AI car this spring. Probably a 4th gen but it will depend on what's on the market when he's ready to pull the trigger.

If the tires are stamped "HOOSIER" then we probably won't be able to deal. However, if you run 888's we might be able to make an exception. I'd love to see a 500HP V6 go all "Tokyo Drift" around MSR-H... Sideways if fast... Just ask Dave F. :)
