engine stand guidance, please

I'm laying the groundwork to be able to get #35 back on the track in 2014, and gathering parts & tools. Will need to pull the engine, and already have a hoist, but don't have an engine stand.

Been reading about stands for a few days, but would really appreciate any suggestions/guidance this group can provide. Most of the stands on Craigslist are either rusted out, missing parts, or look like they would collapse from a Miata engine, let alone a V8.

Held a fully assembled LT1 just fine. Not the sturdiest but fine if you aren't running an engine shop.

I would recommend getting one that has 4 wheels and I think 1,000 lb capacity. The 3 wheeled ones scare me a little and seem like you can roll an engine onto the ground or into a car pretty easily. I know in my Dad's garage that has several engines on stands we have thrown away the three wheeled ones in favor of only 4 wheeled.
