WTB: Cheap, entry level CMC or AI car ready to race.

I am looking to get into CMC racing. I have come to terms with the fact that I have too many projects. I am looking for an inexpensive, reliable car. I don't expect a top placing car, just one I can run.

On a side note, I have a Manta Mirage kit car I am working on that I might be willing to trade for a nicer car. Do a search on Manta Mirage. That will be easier than me trying to describe what it is. Lets jsut say, 1800lbs, mid-mounted 350 and less than 40 inches tall!!

Well, since you did say an AI car too....mine is still looking for a new home. Reliable, fast and podium ready wherever you want to take it.

Don't know what your definition of cheap is but it's a steal at $22,500!!!
    Ah, fugg it.

Your car is awesome, but that is a little out of my "cheap" price range.

Rayman, you want a turn-key car?

I guess I need to know what you consider "cheap".

Off the top of my head, LAW Motorsports could probably get you behind the wheel of a 4th gen Formula for $8K or so.

    Hey Mitch.
Are you guys still building those cars? Is anyone running CMC-2? I would think 8k is a good price for freshly built car.

Because of work commitments, I couldn't make the 1st half the season. So, when I started this year, I took my CMC car and entered in CMC2 to seed the field.

Let's get together and put paper and pencil to it and see what we can come up with.

Thanks Todd. Yeah, I am just looking to get back into running something. The Vette was costing way too much to run. How about $1000 for a set of tires that were good for one weekend? CMC looks good, becasue I just want to run right now, I don't want to build another car.

Anyone got an old car that they don't run anymore that they want to get rid of?
