    Hydrate now

Drink lots of water and reduce caffiene/salt intake for the next week.

    Be safe.

Ready to drive, but not to race. I'll be there to run at least a few sessions in HPDE or Time Trials, but there are still too many open issues with the car from a preparation and legality standpoint to remedy between now and the event. Things like expired harnesses, MSD distributor, no race pads, no alignment, no exhaust (the open H pipe was a hit at MSR last weekend), and oil temps heading well into the 300+ degree range after about 10 minutes all add up to tell me that I'm just asking for more trouble if I try to push things.

At least the 40min race should be dry. Don't forget the Rain-X.
