Don't they use spotters in IRL? I agree that the yellow was out long enough to get communication to the drivers. It's a shame and sad that this incident should have been prevented. I wasn't there and don't know all the details though.

He raced in the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill just a few months ago.
