05+ Mustang GT's....need input.

Tossing around a few ideas in my head about simplifying.

Who all owns or has driven the 05+ mustangs as street cars and what was your experience? Also, is yours stock, Roush, Saleen or other?

I have driven a stock, Roush and Saleen on the track and was impressed with the Roush. Very controllable. Such a better platform compared to the older cars. They are heavy but do not feel like it. If I had to have a street/track '05 I would get a GT and put springs, struts/shocks and sway bars and be done with it. Probably better brakes also.

Yeah, I had heard the Roush feels pretty solid....but isn't it just the ford track pack that you can buy for like 1500 bucks...?

I am getting visions of going to the ULTRA dark side with the Challengers hitting the showrooms in April. They might be delusions of grandure but it would be nice to only have one car, 425hp, good looks a warranty! :shock:
