3rd gen's can only use the 305 - no 350's permitted in a 3rd gen chassis in CMC.

Looks like everybody else is asleep...

Nope, nyet, don't even think about it... 305's only for the 3rd gen Fbodys.

You could run a carb on it though...

You cannot run a 350 cid motor in a 3rd gen, irrespective of the choice of induction. That said, the l98 is an obvious option for getting 3rd gens to CMC2 power levels some time down the road. So, if that motor is a good deal, you might want to snatch it anyway and keep it for future use.

ok cause in section 8.13.1 it says " Any available engine that was offered in the generation range" basically. I was doing research and found that the L98 was offered in the 92 IROC so that's why I was curious. Well it looks like I have some motor building to do

I have actually seen a couple in 92 RS models as well. I still can't confirm it or not but I had a customer that had a 350 TPI in a 92 RS convertible with a 5spd. This was in 95' so I don't know if he put it in there or not...I have been told there was NEVER a 3rd gen built from GM with a 5.7 and a 5spd...

IT would make for a fun AI car though!
    Ah, fugg it.

Yeah it would. It's a shame the 3rd gens aren't eligible. That was one reason I almost didn't get a 3rd gen. But I couldn't pass it up for the price.

Ok so here's another one, how many third gen guys are running aftermarket (a.k.a. better) radiators?
