    Pit/Paddock organization

Has anyone though about trying to organize the pit area a little better? I know we try to keep all the AI and CMC guys together, but right now, setup in the area seems a bit haphazard and as the field grows, things will get worse.

if we could get some dimensions we could lay something out, here is an idea of what we could do... I spend about 5 seconds on this, its just an example of what we could do, nothing is to scale or even remotely thought about in this example.

Don't forget to set aside plenty of room up on the hills for Glub Griggs along with the placards for the front gate. NO AUTOGRAPHS, NO SOLICITING, BEWARE OF DOG

I'm very self concious about the pit space I take.

This past event (each event, actually), Glenn and I coordinated and tried to take just 3 spaces for 4 cars ... #70, #9, #8 and #67 in Time Trials. Steve is a sponsor and we try to take care of him when he comes.

I also saw that James and Nick kind of paired up and shared a spot.

The fact that the Ranch wanted a boulevard cut through the center of the skid pad didn't help matters much.

The fact that it rained and made parking off the pavement dicey didn't help much either.

I also realize that you Ford guys have to pack a whole bunch of tools and spare parts just to make the car last a weekend. So you really do need more space.

We can try to self-manage it a bit, but really JC has done a super great job in the past. Just takes a little bit of organization and communication.
