I've had some time to reflect and let the weekend's excitement wain to some degree.

While the infraction might be deemed less severe, it is, in principle, exactly the same. I blew a flag, plain and simple.

I put those who I consider my friends, track workers and myself at risk.
Bad move on my part ... no excuses.

For those that did not hear/were not there, Mitch was one of three that got called for passing during a standing yellow. As always, there could be mitigating circumstances: the flag was just coming out, there was a car passing me so I couldnt see the stand, etc etc but again as always we the drivers have to shoulder the responsibility.

Watch for those flags, each and every time.
