Note that all cars need working headlights and taillights, and this event is only open to drivers who are solo qualified with DriversEdge (which means you have to have run with them at least once and be signed off to run solo - there are DriversEdge events in June at TWS and July at MSR-C before the night event, so there is time if you haven't run with them before).

I would really like to do this event. I missed it last time because of the dirt racing I was involved in.

Now, I have officially retired the street car and the CMC car won't be built in time and doesn't have head lights anyway. I guess I won't ever get to do it.

I've driven the infield at night and with headlights and supplemental light from portable systems, it's a little weird ...

Rent CMC #8, reinstall the headlights, and go have fun.

complain all you want, but look @ what platforms hold the Texas track records. look @ what platform holds ALL Texas CMC Champ titles.
i keep hearing all this 350, this and 350, that. i offered to go 305 TBI w/ a T-5 @ 3150 when i was building the car. got a big no go on that.

i know you guys are busting my balls, but there is no c.i. advantage.
where does the 302/305 make peak TQ?
