Car that's been sitting for a while....

So, lets say you have a car that's been sitting for about 11 months and now the tires are a little "D" shaped. Do you think driving it a little will make them more round again or would you just be better off trashing them? Tires have about 2k miles on them which is the pisser....and they vibrate like a bitch at 50-70mph!

    Thanks!
    Ah, fugg it.

The steel belt in the tire will develop a "memory" if left under inflated over time. Drive the sucker over inflated! Two things will happen either it will round itself out or you will have a permanent high speed vibration. Don't re-balance........it's pointless.

Tires amazingly held 35lbs the entire time in "storage"... I found some cheapo Sumitomos at Tire rack for $68/ea...I may just replace them if things don't improve...

    Thanks!

They will recover. My other Mustang sits like that and they are always have "carcass flatspotting". If the vibration doesn't go away after a while, then consider replacing the tires.

Camaro, Mustang, doesn't matter to me, I'll race it.
