    WTB: Ford 5.0L longblock -- non-HO preferred...

The engine in Dad's Lincoln blew up last week. Anyone have a good 5.0L laying around they'd like to sell cheap? I'll take an HO engine too, but I'd prefer not having to swap out the cam or monkey around with the firing order on an HO engine.

Update....He said $450 would get it out of the engine bay...it currently is still in the truck and can be started and ran for inspection....

Damnit! He's already got the Ford dealer to order a rebuilt longblock!

First he asks me for help, then before I can even act on it, he takes the easy and expensive way out. Grr.... He'll spend $6000 on a job that could be done for $800.
