What do you use and what do you pay?
    Where do you get them?
I'm looking for a cheaper brake pad.

    thanks,

Brembo front calipers and running PFC 01's....getting 4 to 5 local events out of them except ECR (1 full set) and hallett in the mix.

    Getting fronts for around $220.00

Rears are PFC 97's....lasts for ages... $115 pair...?
    Ah, fugg it.

I ran all season on one set of Carbotech XP10's and one set of rotors.

I use off the shelf rears...like $15 and they lasted all season.

James, that is amazing!!!! I get about 3 events on a set of XP10's and about that much on rotors. Of course I have the rear brakes dialed all the way down - stupid inferior Mustang.

I pay about $139 per set of fronts in the Cobra shape.

Camaro, Mustang, doesn't matter to me, I'll race it.

I ran this entire year and the two events last year on one set of Porterfield R4s. They offer a NASA discount. Forget the price off the top of my head.

I have had the best luck with PF01's front and PF97's rear...

By the way, I am now a dealer for Performance Friction & Hawk!!!

I can get you pads cheaper... I became a dealer to support the members at the local track down here in Austin, I have been waiting to extend the offer to the AI-CMC group... looks like here is a good time!

I run XP10s, last about 2/3 of our season. Maybe I should use the brakes less, then I'd be fast like James and save on pads! Tony G is a dealer for carbotech, the CMC deal through him is $137 I believe for any CMC platform.

Awesome news David, I'll get in touch with you for my next set (needed for beginning of next year).

JB, I run 01's on the front and they do amazing. I got three events on my first set of pads (MSRC, TWS, and Hallett). I am on my second set now (TWS and ECR) but I haven't checked them after this last event.

I do run EBC-yellows on the rear and I think they have about 8 or 9 weekends on them and still have some life left.
