I have found that there are slightly different front sway bars for the front of a 4-cylinder. (It might just be a production tolerance)

The bar I run is 42 7/8" wide at its widest points. This bar fits perfectly.
I have also run a 4-cyl bar that is 42 5/8" wide and it makes the end-link angle very awkward.

I would definitely look for one that is 42 7/8" wide.

has anyone tried a front sway bar from an SVO mustang? I think they are different as Michael and I talked about this a while back...

They are bigger and longer. The end links end up with a really funky angle to them.

The rear bars are smaller than a 5.0 bar.

I have the SN95 arms on my SVO and the sway bar links are straight.

86 and earlier cars had a narrower k-member compared to 87-93. Maybe that is where the narrower swaybar came from.

Try O'Reillys for the sway bar frame bushing. I think I bought a 4 cyl urethane one there.
    What was your takeaway?
