    Sat. night food?

    Are we doing a meal Sat. night? If so who is doing it and what do we all need to bring?

    I have it on good authority that a margarita machine will be there for Sat. night.

    I posted something here;
    http://www.nasarockymountain.com/nas...ead.php?t=3065

    I think we should host these guys this year.

    I got this response;

    JB, yes I am bringing the big grill - we don't leave home without it!!! Plus the beer dispenser (yeah the one from Nationals) with a 1/2 keg of PBR and a 1/4 keg of something light.

    RB and I are also bringing smoked pork loin, tri-tip, a few chicken patties, a boca burger for my vegetarian & maybe some wings. Also some pasta & potato salads. Beth is fixing a desert.

    We've got the plates/bowls/napkins/etc. Eating dinner as a group on Saturday night is just a given w/us. Dinner for 250+ is a common sight.

    Still Needed:

    We are doing the chili cook-off. I hope to send out an email to all participants about this and get some entrants. It only works well if we get 5-6 entries!!! I am sure there will be a prize associated.

    Maybe another desert? Maybe some chips & dip?

    I had hoped to pay for the big spread with our share of the profits from this event but it looks like that will fall through. Donations gladly accepted.

    We need someone to bring a source of music and something loud to play it on. Who had the big speakers and stereo last year?

    Are we going to watch racing videos or should I bring a good knuckle-dragging flick like Talladega Nights / Joe Dirt or god forbid Deliverance?

    Bev's says the party theme is Hawaiian Luau.
    She's has a ton of decorations from her rummaging.
    Dress accordingly.
