Got to gabbing over at JG's last night and missed the High Def coverage of the Baja 1000.....praying for an encore presentation!

Installed the lexan in AI#97 as well as some other weight savings....figured out over heating and loss of power issue, sourced new axle to replace the bent one from R3, drank 2 cases of beer single handed, 1 sunburn, tought my dog to swim finally and went to bed early last night!

A great, productive and safe weekend!

What? No one's wife irritated them?

Had the mom-in-law in town for the weekend - which is not as bad as it sounds. Saturday we dragged her around the Scarborough Renaissance Festival along with Mason and his ma. Interesting people watching to be had there for sure! On the way home, we called in at the SVT Cruise to see if anyone showed up with their race car. We left early, but I suspect Michael Mosty may have taken home winners trophy for the feature class?

Sunday Leah took her ma shopping, so I put the TV up to the window next to the pool and consumed a batch of Leah's Margaritas while floating around watching F1 and the Indy. Sunday evening we went and had dinner on board the Texas River Queen on Lake Ray Hubbard while listening to the blues band they had on board. Tough day that one! 8)

Yesterday we did some yard work, then drank more Margaritas while floating round the pool, then had dinner outside at Obzeet restaurant (very cool non-chain place on Preston near the 190 with live music in their beer garden).

Didn't work on cars all weekend...

    Sat:
    Drove to Las Vegas
Stopped in Primm so wife could shop for new outfits.
Went to the Palms, got ripped in the Ghostbar, lost $50 on blackjack
    Passed out at 3:30am

    Sun:
Drove to Hoover Dam so wife could go on the damn Dam tour.
Got to ESPNzone by the start of the Coca-Cola 600
    Consumed many beverages and food
Met friends at Bellagio, got ripped, lost $50 on blackjack
    Passed out at 3am

    Mon:
    Drove home, vegged-out.

    Wife happy.

Note: avoid Vegas on any holiday weekend...absolutely packed (but it is only 250 miles from me)
