    Hard hit at TWS

Saw this over on specmiata.com, I believe it was RP's father in law in the second car:

Hard hit, I hope Myron is ok!

That was pretty much an unexpected hit while watching the video.

Yep, that was my father-in-law. He's OK but pretty bruised up. Mostly his ribs and tailbone. The other guy is OK too.

The car is not so OK. The engine has been moved back and the floor in the driver's compartment is buckled. It might be fixable but probably not.

Ouch, major damage in that pic Richard. I'm glad to hear Myron is OK (well, except for being sore and having a car totaled). Looked to me like he had nowhere to go once the spinning car backed across the track. I've never run TWS in the CW direction but I guess they are moving pretty fast at that point on the track.

I hope Myron can get it repaired or get a donor.

Wow! Glad to hear that the guys are OK. I understand that OK is relative but thankfully, they are here to tell about it.

    Hauling the freaking mail!

Basically foot to the floor at apex of T2 and don't get on the brakes till you are on the flat entering T15.

It looks like the guy in front of the camera car lifted, the camera car got on the brakes on the banking and through the transition. Not good.

I saw LG do basically that same thing in their Vette and he wound up on the apron between Nascar 3 and 4.

Wow - big hit - glad to see both drivers walked away OK.

I'll be driving TWS CW this weekend with the DriversEdge - one of my favorite track configs. Wish NASA would race CW there (and at MSRC for that matter)
