National Ford GT rally at TWS tomorrow

Should be fun! There's a 30% chance of rain and 90 Ford GTs are s'posed to drive the 2.9. I'll take pics.

Corn is getting the TX Mile ready for them this weekend. I'll have a grid monkey do the timing.

The Ford GT guys were a good tempered and friendly bunch and I'm happy to say that this event went pretty smoothly. We only had one incident that made me throw a red flag, but no one got hurt and no property got damaged. A guy decided to make up his own course rather than follow the car in front of him, like he was told to. (Yes, there are 2 guys in this world that dumb and they both own GTs.)

Enjoy the clickable pics. More to come soonish.

    Pay up!

Jerry - They may have gone as fast as 50mph on the oval. After past problems, these guys were terrified of hurting their cars.

Per chance, do you know if the blue/orange GT on the front row was a California car? If so, we built the exhaust for it in San Diego at JBA. Seem to remember doing an overdriven SC pulley as well. Made somewhere north of 550hp.

Don't know, but there were 3? of the Gulf livery cars. Camilo Pardo was driving one.
