This is a great deal, tons of track time for free (about 2 hours). Lunch for both days is included as well as BBQ at Rudy's on sat night. This is a top notch event and is a lot of fun. Also, if you know someone who might be interested in signing up for it send them my way, it is open to all makes.

I'm signed up to instruct, but I too will be car less unless I can get that pesky intermittent fuel problem on the Cobra fixed this week.

Maybe a couple of us should share a rental and beat the snot out of it?

Well, thanks to Daron....there are only TWO TWS miatas left!!!

I COULD have my junk together by then if the heads show back up by Wednesday....but getting a tune and everything else is just too much trouble.

what kind of rentals do ya'll suggest? There are a lot of V6 stangs out there but I think we would pretty much do them in by the time we were done! would probably need one of those seatbelt clips for sure!

Ok, Alamo has grand prix's for under $100 for mid day friday till sunday evening out of DFW....

Enterprise has V6 Chargers/Magnums and V6 Maximas for $150 for the same time frame....

Who's game?! If you get a charger, you could even camp in the back of it!!!

V6 S197 Mustangs handle pretty well, I am sure there will be a couple there. Jeff Lacina will have one probably.

At Texas Driving Experience, they rent Hertz V6 Mustangs and you are right. They have some decent power and some good handling traits.

Yeah, I just have a hard time getting past the $75/day!

who do we need to contact to get on the instructor list...? Is it Andy Menard are a different group this time....I am interested in going....our AI wheels/tires fit S197's so I can use my toyos for this and get a little more out of the car! My mission till August 7th is to eat sleep and breathe TWS.....

Unfortunately - budget won't allow me to rent something else. CMC car will have to suffice.
