    Hallett CMC-CMC2

At a track like Hallett will the extra power of CMC2 really make a difference over CMC? I assume the tire difference would do more for faster lap times than the extra 30 H/P would but I'm just guessing.

Hallett is pretty much a non-HP track. Unlike TWS where HP is king on those long straights. In fact, I was hanging w/ all the AI cars and even the Farrari, and 2 GT3's during the enduro at TWS in the slow corners. It was the straights where they gap me.

So are you thinking we should all just run CMC2?
Or are you hopefull your lack of power will help you stay even with the field?
Also, places like Hallett favor lighter cars. Its one of the trade off's.

I was getting murdered on the front straight at TWS.
I'm really looking forward to Hallett.

No I was just wondering if say you or Jeff W. would be any faster at all with CMC2 power at a track like Hallett. I remember one time watching DW run faster laps on a short track after dropping a cylinder than he was on all eight (until the motor went boom).

Seen more passes at Hallett under braking into corners than in the straights. Unless of course someone fubar's a corner and tosses exit speed out the window.

    Threshold/trail braking isn't HP dependent. It's a knife-edge track.

I pulled the plate at Hallett and matched my CMC times during the grudge race. Next morning w/ the plate in and new tires, I set track record. HP is of no real value there.
