That might be a pretty good deal.

I don;t see the alignment boss in the forward right side of the valley. This could be an LS6 block.

Would need to see the main webs to be sure.

It's a 97/98 block. I can pick it up if you need me to and bring it to Alamo to ship, my trailer is stored in Wylie.

I'm guessing your pre-July 4th drop in didn't work out?

Losing multiple motors in a year is not a fun experience...

Dealing with my pile of pieces that was once a motor isn't very fun at the moment either.

Funny that the used headlight is more expensive than the used door I got.

    Thanks Fella's,
This season has kicked me in the nuts. I was late to get a 99 TA LS1 6speed today. hit REAL hard in the front for $1K.

So is anyone here taking a chance on this motor? Raybob I am close to Wylie, too. If you aren't buying I may take a chance and pick it up. Should have gone to look at it, but wish they pistons were out of it. If there is one bad piston chances are good that others are bad. If that cylinder with the missing piston is messed up it can be resleeved. My motor was resleeved a few years ago with no problems.

Let me know so I don't bid against someone.
