Mustang brake ducts - Who needs?

Trying to find out if anyone needs brake ducts for their car. These are the duct brackets that mount to the SN95 spindle. I can get some pictures tomorrow, but these direct the air primarily into the rotor hat and some onto the rotor surface. I think there was a thread on CC.com about someone making these but couldn't find it(meaning lazy).

If I can get enough peope to buy these they will be $75/pair + shipping(if any). Maybe cheaper.

Can you get a photo? I was thinking of maiking a set very similar to the Griggs design (which is VERY simple.) Marshall Mosty runs this, I think.

However, if your setup looks good, I may just get them.

    Okay guys.

The list of materials is as follows:
    6" long, 3" exhaust pipe (Qty 2)
1" wide, 0.125" steel strip stock, cut to 1.5" (Qty 4)

You will smash one end of the 3" tubing down so your caliper will mount in the bracket.

The two tabs are custom cut with a cutoff wheel to notch for the caliper mount to spindle bolts to grab them. Use large washers to help the precision fit.

I think I have approx $11 in material for each pair and about 2 hours of labor. $75 would be fair for a "good" looking pair. Mine don't classify as "good looking", but they are functional.

$11 versus $150 (Griggs).... easy answer in my book.

I'm working on getting pictures... more to come!

Yeah, this started me to think about how it would clear brakes other than the cobra setup....brembo, stoptech etc..... need pictures from Jeff's setup to make final decision.

I will make sure we test fit for all the different setups...
