Mitch, If I cut the NASCAR bars out of my 02' Camaro, how difficult will it be to weld them back in? :?:

if you cut them @ the weld and do not mess up the fish mouth on the bars, should be no problem.
i dont see that being very easy to do though.

what are ya trying to do??

I have been driving my 02' Bitchin' Black Camaro as a street car. I have grown tired of climbing over the NASCAR bars and think life would be easier without them.

I may even hang another door on the car. I need a drivers door, black is prefered. I'll trade out a passenger door. Do you have any power window units? My car originally had power windows and have been changed to crank.

I bet we can cut them off and if we leave the notch in tact can most certainly weld them back.

How much? Hell, I dunno ... we aren't out to get rich or anything ... but covering the cost of gas, grinding wheels and supplies, alnog with a little spending money for our time is about all we ask.

I might as well find a good drivers door then. And finish the job right!

Jeff, if you do this, there is a guy here in Dallas that might buy your AI mustang....PM me some details on what you would want for it and I will pass it along. ......but don't do it man!
