I'll be in the same boat in a few weeks. I'm thinking about getting the wiring diagram and stripping out the unnecessary stuff. But it sounds like a lot of work in an area that I'm not all that comfortable with. Some like the Painless kits and some don't. I might be interested in your instrument cluster if you decide to get rid of it.

Just call Waco Bill, that pole award is good for a free wiring harness.

I'd call Todd. I'm sure he didn't think this a big deal.

Rob, I give a thumb's up to a Painless harness. Only had to lengthen three of the bundles (coil, and both O2 sensors). No clue why the coil wiring was short, and since it was an OEM application, I can't blame the O2 sensors being short.
Fired right up, no issues... Worth the $$$ IMHO instead of relying on "old" Ford wiring.
