    TWS entry fee

Is there a particular reason the entry fee for TWS is up to $305?

It's not about the money, It's about fun and camaraderie.

You guys are having so much fun they thought you wouldn't mind!

Come on Nick, it makes perfect sense. They are expecting their largest turn-out of the year @ TWS so why not keep raising the price. :? :x

Those hood seals must be expensive?

It's really not surprizing given that entries for the last 2 events were way down, and TWS charges a small fortune to rent the track?

NASA TX needs to be carefull they don't end up in a catch 22 situation - entries are down, so they need to raise the price, which in turn may cause yet more drivers to look elsewhere for their fun?

Personally, I think there is still room to raise the HPDE price a little and keep the racing entry fees below $300. Super low price is not the primary factor in DE attendance as we found out when researching and testing prices for Apex. Given that the HPDE folks get more track time than most race groups, plus the cost of instructing them both on the track and in the classroom, their entry fee is still an absolute bargain compared to the racers!

Well, that looks like it for me.

    I can't make MSR/H because of work.

So, it appears, my season is done.

Just like with gasoline, I can't go any longer without a fill-up. So I have already bitten the bullet and registered for the TWS event. I also grabbed a garage which seemed like a bargain at $35 for the weekend. Last year I pitted in the sun next to Mike Bell's generator exhaust.

Adam - are you going to work your magic with garage grouping for this event? Hint - HINT!!!

Yes, I'll do my best to keep the AI, AIX and CMC folks pitted/garaged together.

Well, I just hope we don't have a diminished car count and get other series thrown into our run group which will end up effecting our tight racing and potentially a season long points battle... :x

Adam, I had sent shannon an email that I would not be attending the hallet event and to transfer my entry fee to TWS...I never got a response. Any suggestion on how to verify that this has occurred the way I intended it to and not them thinking I made a donation?

    Thanks
