    NOLA Event

Is there any info available for the New Years NOLA event??? AND, would this be a 2011 or 2012 points event for TT? I think the AI27 will become the TT27...

It will not be an AI/CMC 2011 points weekend.
Dave has been told to announce the event (likely w/out the planned enduro) by the track management.
I'm pretty sure the track isn't finished yet but was told they planned to be ready. My bet is this weekend's rain will cause some delays.

I've got points for TT set to end with the Nov TWS event. Unless all of the other race groups count the 31/1 event as 2011 for both days I'll count it towards 2012.

Good to have you out with the group David, we need some veterans out there to whip up on some of these newbies

Run the points to be sure But I'm think TTB covers most of them well enough that its where I throw CMC1/2 cars that go out and use a TT session to test a repair or whatnot. TRs are in the 1:56s/57s at TWS depending on direction.

TTS is where I place the AI cars in the same scenario fwiw.

I'm always happy to help someone walk through the classing and place them exactly where they belong though. I wouldn't be surprised to see a CMC1/2 car fit into TTC by running a touch heavier or something like that, or it might just fit outright... won't know till I walk a few through the classing sheets.

In the past CMC 1 cars were TTC. As for CMC 2, that class wasn't around when I was Co-Director of TT (one year).
Running a 1:56 in a CMC car w/ RA1's would be hard. Hoosiers would be a cake walk. I could see a 1:55 once we got used to the grip.

Like I said - happy to work through the points sheet with anyone and get the car classed exactly where it fits. But if I don't have that and all I know is "CMC" or whatever then I toss it in TTB to be safe.

I'll get with you it will either be a 400 hp AI car or a stock Neon

Sounds like TTS and TTF respectively again, happy to work through the sheets with anyone to dial it in exactly
