Is this tire safe to run?

While I was polishing wheels in the garage this weekend and following the racing I decided to pull down my tires. One of them only has one weekend on it but of course it ran over a muffler that fell off a Mosty car and put a gash in it.

No. It's down to the cords.

If that is cord showing which is hard to tell in the pic, then I would probably not run it either.

eh, it is just the outer layer... but don't be that cheap. A wrecked car to repair costs alot more than a new tire...

Michael can show you a really cool fender and door that was taken out on the front straight at TWS after he decided to run one of his "Dukes of Hazzard" tires from Hallett because it "looked okay".

Don't take the risk. Send Michael the invoice for the new tire since it was his shit that fell off that caused it...
