    Valve Spring Help

I'm trying to find some 1.5" OD, approx 1.0" ID springs with 135lb seat pressure and approx 350-360 lb open pressure at 0.500" with a 1.82" installed height (or at least a short spring I can shim to 1.82").

I'm doing some calling around, but didn't know if anyone had an inside line on springs.

    Thanks.

When I got springs for my GT40x(303's) I called Comp Cams and talked to the guys there. They ran thru all the specs and told me what the part number was. I ordered it and when we installed them everything was good except for the open pressure was a bit light at 280... My engine builder called them and found another set of Comp Cams Springs that were the same match with a set pressure of around 320-330...

I would call Comp Cams and detail out your specs, they were very helpful both times.

The web site has a 1-800 number, that is what I called.

Looks like I found what I was looking for...

    Crane Cams PN44308-1 (Conical design)

    137 Lb seat pressure
    365 Lb open pressure

I'm talking with my cam guy and it looks like I won't have anything detailed out for this season, but 2008...
