L'il rear brake pad clippies

Anyone running without the little brake pad tension clippies?

I've always run with them but now that they're toast wondering what would happen if I ran without 'em.

Does have a bit of slop...are they required?

Will they chatter? Will they humm? Will they groan?

Will they work is all that matters.

Any and all (honest) advice appreciated. :roll:

I have run without them for years without any problems, I get brake moan with and without them. In my un-scientific opinion I think they may run a little cooler without them. Without the clips, the pads can relax and come off the rotors a bit more between applications.

Nope... "Mosty Moments" only happen with I'm working on something related to fuel pumps. :?
