    He had wife and children out holding a tarp over the truck so it wouldn't get hail on it. :roll:

    Mitch...How close was the tornado to your house.

    We didn't get much here....just some wind and lot of rain with a few pieces of hail mixed in.

    Tornadoes really don't scare me much.

    I grew up in west Texas and this is a normal, every spring occurrence. I was living in Lubbock, Texas when the "Big One" came through in 1970. We were living in Olton when the F4 came through Hale Center a couple years later.

    The one here in Granbury was about 3 or 4 miles east of my place. We got a lot of rain, but that was it.
