So true. I can still remember my wife's first reaction "oh you decided to build a racecar, what a wonderful idea" If you believe that please call me because I have an investment opportunity that will gladly pay off on Tuesday.

I'm guessing it was like when I told my wife I was going to learn to fly in a 1946 Aeronca Chief. That was bad but when she went to the airport and saw me hand prop start it and then get in and fly off I thought it was over. Then she saw the bare frames of a Cub and a Champ sitting in a hanger and told me she did not want me flying anymore. It did take a while to get over that one.

Thanks to Sean's LT1 depot and Records' Camaro lifting help, I'm all good now. Car dynoed well today and not seeing anything bad from the usual oil filter checks.

Really hoping I can start and end 2017 without an engine pull!

Forgot how much of a b$&@h setting up gears is... Ugh.

Ended up with a good pattern, 0.0075 backlash, and 24 in-lb pinion drag.

Just need to stab axles once I'm back at the shop.
