What a day.
We're loaded and suffering from Ikes high winds.
Waiting it out.
Blew over the podium area, so they moved it to MO's podium.
It threatened to blow over so it was a mess.
Other 2 goobers didn't show so GL got the pic with 6-8 chicks.


Alot of sour grapes in impound.

I just talked to MFW and he is on his way home and confirms the winds are horrible. Everyone be safe heading back home!!

Was there drama during the race that caused people to be sour? Inquiring minds want to know.

I'll let the party's involved give the details, but it appears the drama was all event long.

All in all ... it's about what I expected from everyone involved and the primary reason I stayed away this year. Too many egos jammed into too little space.

That and I fly out to Vegas early in the morning.

I'm glad the trophy is coming back to Texas ... where it belongs.

first off. thanks for the congrats. it took 3 years, but i finally did it. i couldnt have done it w/ out many many folks from no other place than Texas.
as for the drama...... well Dave has his story and then there is reality. the issues were caught on video and reviewed by officials other than Adam and all saw Shotz moving into me while door to door. i drove a clean race and stood my ground and took a few licks to prove i wouldnt back down. i have vid, but i havent see it yet. money says the only way Matt Kings and Daves vids will get posted is if i did what they say i did. dont hold your breath for it guys and gals.... :roll:

Good sportsmanship is valued more than finishing position. This means clean, well-executed passing is to be a trademark of the series. Punting another competitor, or leaning on them to gain a position will not be tolerated. Car to car contact including bump drafting can result in an investigation and possible sanctions.

Highlights are mine. Just pass the trophies, Toyo bucks and other accolades down the finishing order.

Again, great job all of you! When's the new National CMC Champ's party?

well, made it to cloverdale indiana...delirious w exhaustion so pulled into truck stop for the night.

I've watched my race from today three times and I find myself tensiing up and clenching just watching it! you guys will love it!! get big speakers!

I took about 4500 shots this week so it's going to take me a little time to go through them all. I hope I can finish them on the way home, but once I do I'll make sure and post them up here.
