WOW...big numbers.
So are you only running CMC then?
I still can't decide which to run.

i was hoping to cert for CMC and CMC-2 but i dont have plates for the CMC-2 numbers.
w/ the numbers the unrestricted numbers madeby the green car we sold, James', cas, and Al's car, i was thinking a plate wouldnt be needed or at least i could just ballest up to the number it made if it was over 260/310. but the chart only goes to 267/317 which is 3400lbs. i'm pretty sure i would exceed the max ballast limit of 150lbs.
Yeah, that would require to eat more donuts than Homer Simpson to make that weight!! LOL!!!Originally Posted by GlennCMC70

I wasn't at the dyno today but apparently my car pulled some very interesting numbers... 235/~258? I should be running CMC!
I have to wonder why it seems down on torque. MFW has some ideas but for now it's running fine, and it's what I'm running!

Yeah, I thought TG said you should only be longtubes from 260/300..? Your motor is stock down to the paper filter. HP # was spot on where I expected it....the torque was about 20 lower than I expected. I need to look at the a/f readings but there isn't anything I can do to change them even if they are wacked out. I will keep an eye out for the LT's and get you a $$$ to build a "TG" shortblock. :wink:Originally Posted by Jeremy Gunter

Didn't you guys have to change the crank bearings or something (sorry can't remember) Could it still be just real tight?Originally Posted by Jeremy Gunter

Ross, the original motor had a rod-knock so we put a different block in.
