Jeff, that doesn't look strong enough. I think you should fill in the "bottom" of it with some 3/4" steel plate!
Actually my new mount is a 47# plate of 1 inch.
    Thx tho.

For Hallett, direct wiring might be OK. But the electrical needs to have a disconnect on it so that you can take the cooler in and out.
I used a flat four trailer connector so I can take the cooler in and out. Ugly but it works.

And you use the other 2 conductors for the nitrous bottle heater, right?

I gotta have all the help I can get. Who left who in the dust at TWS last time down the front straight? Maybe the bottle was empty?

My old mount was a 48# plate - new rules encourage a lighter mounting configuration.

Didn't the Cool Suit come with a mount plate?

Camaro, Mustang, doesn't matter to me, I'll race it.

Back to the coolsuit. It arrived today-thanks for shipping so quick Brooks.
Need to tighten the eyebolts with someone else helping and its mounted in place. Lines shouldn't be a big deal with a few zip ties to hold them in place. With the water in them they shouldn't move that much.

There is a relay in there, do most people wire up the relay or just a switch to a 12v source?

I'm ready to fill mine with margarita for the last race and stay out for a couple extra cool down laps.

    Rob-it didn't come with a mount.

    BL,

No time this week but just rig it up enough to make it through the weekend and I will make you a mount prior to the next event. My laser and punches are too backed up today to try and run one for you.
