I'll be in the same boat in a few weeks. I'm thinking about getting the wiring diagram and stripping out the unnecessary stuff. But it sounds like a lot of work in an area that I'm not all that comfortable with. Some like the Painless kits and some don't. I might be interested in your instrument cluster if you decide to get rid of it.

Camaro, Mustang, doesn't matter to me, I'll race it.
Just call Waco Bill, that pole award is good for a free wiring harness.

There are only 104 pins on the ecu connector. More to follow. FMR
I'd call Todd. I'm sure he didn't think this a big deal.
Hand made stand alone harness for 96 cobra. I hope it works. FMR
It started!!!! I might just make R1, but it will be close. FMR
Rob, I give a thumb's up to a Painless harness. Only had to lengthen three of the bundles (coil, and both O2 sensors). No clue why the coil wiring was short, and since it was an OEM application, I can't blame the O2 sensors being short.Originally Posted by Rob Liebbe
Fired right up, no issues... Worth the $$$ IMHO instead of relying on "old" Ford wiring.
