    I have never understood running wets on a track that does not have standing water.
    Wet = dry's.
    Raining hard and standing water = wet's.

    Jeff Burch helped me watch the radar from the NOAA site and that helped us pick the right tire in 2008 all week. We never went out on the wrong set.

Is this some voodoo sandbagging trick I have yet to learn?

    Did Dan break? It looked like he only got in 1 or 2 laps and was in 10th.

    I suspect they waited to last second to pick tires. Up on stands and cut it too close.

    What I've heard of people doing with other clubs (and I like the idea) is to roll down to grid with drys on one side of the car, wets on the other, and the remaining tires, jack, and such tagging along on a golf cart, support vehicle, whatever and get as close to grid as you can and drop the stuff off. Get in your grid spot in plenty of time and make the call when it gets as close to time to roll of as you dare as to which side of the car to change tires (to put the drys on or wets...) to get on all the same tire.

    and in other class news looks like TTer Ken Orgeron is getting the track figured out and is lurking just outside the trophies in TTB with a good shot at 'em

    Dan blew a clutch in qual. They're working on it. Sidney got dq for air dam too low. Fabulous and clean racing everywhere.
