I would suggest running on the dyno first. Better place to break in a motor especially if something goes wrong. If it has a problem and you can't race on track you saved $300 from your entry fee by not hitting the track. I was on the dyno yesterday. I'm running it a bit rich right now and want to get a bit more power out of it. I just want to wait until after I get a few laps on it before I start leaning it out.

I just picked mine up today and will get it back in the car after x-mas. Richard advised 2-3 warmup sessions in the shop to get a wear pattern on everything and ensure there are no leaks. Then a 50% session keeping off the rev limiter for 20 minutes or so, and then should be good to ream on it. I'm doing the first track session on 30W break-in oil and then changing to 10/30 for they dyno.
