Orange is alive!
MMMMWWWWuuuuuahahahahaha....

I need more skillz to get this stuff right the first time. While the interweb is full of crap, there are some nuggets. I figured the clutch fork was not on the throwout bearing and all it took was removing the trans mount bolt and loosening up the trans to bellhousing bolts to get enough room to get the fork on right. Where are those LAW-men when you need them.

Now if the Other Orange can find some power...

And man am I tired of having to type less-than-slash-p-greater-than.

While sitting on the couch watching F1 and V8 Supercars this weekend, I did a little reading...

On Saturday night my 2 year old got to take his first helicopter ride. Unfortunately it was on a care flight helicopter after he fell from his chair head first onto a tile floor and began drifting in and out of conciousness. Thankfully God was watching over him and he is ok now and not even the worse for wear.
That said I will have to see how much of the helicopter tab Blue Cross Blue Shield picks up. I think it is safe to say that I will not be coming to ECR in Oct. I should still be at TWS in Nov though since its so close. As scared as I was Saturday night Im just glad to be sitting here typing this even thinking about racing. Enjoy every minute with your kids that you can!
Hate to hear that John; but good to hear he's ok. Yeah, they're tough when they're little. We had multiple sets of concurrent stitches, broken arms, etc. It's slowed down some now.
John,
I can completely understand. When my middle son was about 18 months, my wife was working nights at the hospital and I was home with my two boys (3-Gavin, 18mo-Gage). Gage was eating diced carrots and peas. One of them was "inhaled" and got stuck somewhere in his wind pipe. His breathing became VERY labored. Our neighbor was a nurse and I had her come look at him and her words were, "You need to get the the ER... and fast". I broke so many traffic laws on that drive. Thank god the roads were clear and 90 in a 30 felt "okay". However, I only ended up in an ambulance ride from Denton to Cooks Childrens in Ft. Worth. BC/BS didn't pick up crap ($250) of the $800 ambulance bill. I ended up with the rest out of pocket. Long story short, while at Cooks, Gage coughed "just right" during an X-ray and swallowed the food particle that was causing the problem.
It definately makes you feel like everything is on borrowed time, as we ultimately have NO control on when it's "our time". Cherish the time you do have... as you never know what tomorrow holds.
I'm glad that everything is okay with the little guy...
On a side note, Careflight has a supplemental insurance plan for something like $49/year and covers your entire family. I have it through work, but think you can also pick it up directly with them. They even send a b-day card to everyone each year.
Just got off the phone with the insurance company and got some good news. We only have to meet our yearly out of pocket deductible for Broday and then they pick up the remainder since it was emergency services. Reall glad I have good insurance. I am sure there will be a few billing hiccups but thats a lot better than I was expecting. I had heard horror stories that I would get stuck with the entire careflight bill.
The out of pocket will definitely eat up my ECR budget and then some but I am 99.9% sure I can still make TWS as long as I catch up on the "honey do" list! :)
John... Glad to hear everything is good now. I bet that was pretty scary.
