Sorry for the delay, but I went straight from "race mode" to "vacation mode" with the family and just got home last night and am trying to play catch up on all the back and forth...

Nah... Getting old.... Nothing but piña colladas and tons of them. Btw... This trip is my punishment for being gone racing all the time. I have to keep kendra convinced I hate it.

So I pulled my car off the trailer and onto a lift today... The transmission is fine, but it turns out that I disentegrated the Griggs Torque Arm bushing. That led to the torque arm hammering up/down and breaking the driver's side crossmember bracket which is welded to the subframe connector. That "slop" allowed the front bushing bolt of the T/A to rotate into the driveshaft, causing the horrible noises. So, it appears that it can be fixed with about $100 worth of Griggs parts and a bit of TLC with the welder...

On the up side, I'm glad the bolt hit the D/S, otherwise if the whole crossmember dropped out of the car and under braking became a catapault... that would have been BAD...

Guess I had someone looking after me...

I have my wheel stacked almost 3" and it help tremendously.
