I was hoping to dust off ol' Blue and come out to play a bit. Car swaps / ride alongs would be great from my point of view.

Your record should last all the way until my turn.

If the creamsicle makes it, I'm down for some car swapping. Maybe I should put the bad passenger door back on...

Gonna have to miss this one too. Greg has been sick and unable to get to my seat and some family stuff has kept me from paying off some things I figured I would have had done by now. Time to put down the shovel for a bit I guess.

What people forget is just because they can't afford to run a car for the weekend doesn't mean you can't be at the track. When you work for NASA on a weekend (on grid, on corners, making dinner happen, tech, etc) you can apply that towards future FREE TRACK TIME. Or if that cold hard cash is important, that can be worked out as well.

I guess this isn't how it's worked in the past in TX, so I figured I would throw that out there and remind people again. I'd say at one point or another at least 1/2 the racers in Rocky Mountain (and probably all the other NASA regions) have raced for FREE because they gave back to the sport and spent some time making the event happen.
